Superb elegant seafront rooms many with sea views, the 4-star Mercure Brighton is the perfect place for a Sussex break by the sea. The Grade II listed hotel is a grand Victorian landmark since 1865 with lots of period features, including original mirrors, chandeliers and an amazing lobby staircase. The Mercure has 117 rooms, double, twin and family. Choose from classic or privilege sea view, and sea view balcony rooms or Privilege Mews rooms.
WE SAY: A good breakfast at the Mercure starts your day after a great sleep in one of the smart guest rooms. We recommend you go for a Privilege sea view to ensure a tip top seaside break. The lounge is stunning and still retains much of the Victorian splendour, the perfect place to indulge in Afternoon Tea with fresh cakes, scones and finger sandwiches, yummy! The Mercure is great for a blustery stroll along Hove Lawns located opposite.
